As part of a new three-day festival in the London borough of Camden, KSR Architects have designed a brightly colored pop-up pavilion for the famous Britannia Junction. The festival's centerpiece is made up of 640 fluorescent tubes hanging from a stage truss system to make a colossal wind chime, animating the area with movement, color and sound.

The Camden Create festival is part of an initiative by Camden Town Unlimited to promote the area as a place work and recreation in a creative environment, and features talks, workshops and other events at the borough's many creative businesses. The many colors of the pavilion's hanging tubes represent the multitude of creative industries represented in Camden.

The project was created with help from BIE, DW Plastics, ARUP, IPS and the client, Camden Town Unlimited. The inaugural Camden Create festival is running until tomorrow, May 15th, after which the short-lived but vibrant pavilion will be removed.
