Text description provided by the architects. Three materials generate diverse atmospheres, which chain in the experience of the user searching  on the presence of the objects at the landscape, on the control of the relations between the constructed space and the environment.

The glass envelope, with a wood structure, offers multiple shades and an extraordinary capacity of interaction with the environmental conditions. The glass of exterior facade, placed in two caps, ranges between being a veil, forming draughty façade, that permit to see the  wood of the isolation, to translucent wall  but thickness, with the solution of wood between both glass, to light lattice that opens the building on the outside.

This way the building travels according to the conditions of light, from an appearance of crystalline carved volume, to a certain evocation of shed palisade or agricultural gallery. The courts will offer diverse atmospheres when the vegetation grows, since in each of them the density and peculiarities of the natures in them created it will be different, and will offer different paces throughout the year.

Constructive memory: To look for the wealth of shades that can be obtained, making the  façade structure more or less present, added to the care in controlling the climatic functioning of the building, it was required a great precision in the details and in the putting in work.

The construction like structural element of the carpentry of wood, give the thickness required to the façade, and allow to obtain on the south putting the glass as interior layer , the necessary protection of the summer Sun. This gets improved making the studding of wood evident on the outside in lattice.

The glass facade shapes a prism that stands out and empty to generate diverse courts and to be left to invade for the garden. The cuts of the courts, clear, show an interior different from the exterior envelope. They are more artificial, all of them of galvanized steel, and receive the private part  of the program, whereas the transverse spaces define the zones of the patients.

Façade areas are translucent walls that connect environmentally with the exterior, and manage to demonstrate the thickness of the wall, when the  wood structure is at  the interior. In the south front and west, the glass  work as a draughty permanently facade in its exterior layer, whereas in the east and north facades ,the glass shapes  closed boxes for a major isolation.
