Garage Museum of Contemporary Art announces the second competition for the development of conceptual designs for 2020’s Garage Screen, a summer cinema located on Garage Square in front of the Museum. “ATLAS of emerging practices” is a publication that provides an overview of the state of the architect’s profession, analysing themes, trends, projects, and methods that characterise the professional practice, and understanding this discipline through the research carried out with a selection of emerging architectural practices in the European territory.

ATLAS involved 95 emerging practices from 22 European countries in an online survey. Their responses were collected and further analysed in this publication. Following an introduction on the New Generations project and its evolution over the years, the publication develops in four main sections: organisation, business, media, and projects.

The “Organisation” section analyses

New Generations is a project by Itinerant Office created with the aim of building a European platform for young students and architectural firms, a network based on collaboration and cultural exchange.
