The intervention will take place on properties owned by the CAAITBA (Social Security Fund for Surveyors, Architects, Engineers, and Technicians of the Province of Buenos Aires), located in the town of Mar Azul, in the Municipality of Villa Gesell, commonly known as the "Engineers' Campground."

As part of the 4th International Forum on Urban Interventions (FIIU 2019)—which hosts the 3rd Placemaking Latin America gathering—the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Cities Lab, Ocupa tu Calle, and Lima Cómo Vamos are launching the 3rd Citizen Urban Innovation Competition. BID CitiesLab 2019 is a university competition aimed at finding creative solutions and innovative ideas for urban problems in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), involving students, university professors, and young professionals from the region and Spain. It aims to serve as a seedbed and incubator for young talent in urban issues through a network of universities, offer direct experience to enhance real plans and projects, and promote a participatory space that challenges the discipline's paradigms.
