Our "drifts" return, this time to explore cities across the Pearl River Delta region, including Hong Kong and Guangzhou. We will be joined by various organizations, firms, and local friends who will share their expertise and insights into these cities. In Portuguese architecture, the quest to understand the slow integration of women into the profession is a recent discussion. However, debates regarding Women in Architecture or the relationship between feminism and architecture began at least in the 1970s and extend beyond women's rights. They have materialized through meetings, literature, and individual and collective paths that contribute to the theoretical and practical transformation of architecture.

Sand, stone, and earth are among the most extracted materials on the planet—yet their removal is rarely pictured, let alone understood as foundational to the built environment. In the exhibition DOMINIO: An Unfinished Visual Archive of Architectural Extractivism, on view in the Newmark Gallery at Art Omi from March 21–May 31, 2026, architectural photographer Onnis Luque traces these often-invisible origins of construction back to the raw landscapes from which they are born.

La Chambre and the European House of Architecture - Upper Rhine are launching the 8th edition of Archifoto - European architectural photography competition.
Since 2010, Archifoto has brought together documentary and artistic views on current architectural issues. By favouring a free and subjective viewpoint, it rewards photographers whose vision helps us to understand the urban and natural landscape, the ways of living and living together, and the new ways of building the world and society.

From 19–21 March, Architektūros fondas is organising an international three-day symposium on circular design, featuring a conference and an accompanying art programme. By linking critical discourse in urbanism and architecture with artistic practices, the symposium 'What Goes Around Comes Around' approaches circular design not only as a strategy for the reuse of spaces and materials, but also as a way to rethink value, labour, energy and continuity over time.
Under the theme "The Art of Movement" and curated by Marisa Yiu, Co-Founder, Lead Curator and Executive Director of the Design Trust Hong Kong, the Exhibition delves into the architecture, art and natural landscapes of Hong Kong from the 1980s to today, through 30+ donated works.
