Article 25’s 10x10 online art auction is open for bidding and will be accessible until 8.30 pm on the 1^st of December. Now in its eleventh year, 10x10 features work from over 100 artists, architects, sculptors, photographers, and designers offering their reflections on our urban outdoor spaces and bringing together the likes of Banksy and Sir Antony Gormley, with leading architects including Sir David Adjaye. Proceeds will go towards Article 25’s humanitarian design and build projects focusing on housing, safe schools and effective clinics and hospitals worldwide.

Days of Oris is an international architectural festival organized by Oris House of Architecture, held since 2001. Every year, it gathers more than 2000 participants – architects and professionals from the related fields. So far, more than 300 leading experts and speakers from all over the world have participated in the Festival.

The Institute of Architects of Brazil - Department of São Paulo (IABsp) opens a call for papers for the 13th edition of the International Architecture Biennale of São Paulo, with the purpose of bringing together proposals for the exhibition Produções Insurgentes (Insurgent Productions), which will take place in the city of São Paulo in May 21 to July 10, 2022.

The competition is a collaboration between RESOLVE Collective, the Royal Borough of Greenwich, and Historic England's High Streets Heritage Action Zone programme in Woolwich and invites both groups and individuals to apply, prioritising 'first-time designers' and collaborations with local residents. Applicants' physical designs will be installed across a variety of available locations between the town centre and the river, while digital designs will be exhibited on the competition website.

Seeking to actively respond to the climate-related challenges of the 21st century, VELUX's sustainability strategy includes a series of measurable steps towards positive change as we focus on how buildings can help solve global challenges with sustainable solutions and practical actions. One of these steps is Build for Life, a pioneering, multidisciplinary initiative launched in 2021 to help connect people and the planet through better building design.

The Build for Life 2021 Conference will be held on November 15-17, and is an open invitation to join a global conversation on how buildings can benefit the environment and improve the quality of life for people around the world.

Winter Stations is a single-stage international design competition held annually in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Participants are tasked with designing temporary winter art installations which incorporate existing lifeguard towers spaced strategically across the city’s Kew and Woodbine beaches. The structures (not in use in the wintertime) are considered visual anchor points for the installations.

In this context, architecture has been navigating through sequential changes over the last decades with the rise and latter consolidation of new technologies, tools, formats, topics, scales, and interdisciplinary approaches, along with the emergence of the Internet that led towards a disruptive decentralization of the architecture production and discussion. Architects and designers from all over the world are embracing these challenges by pondering their roles and exploring their own practical approaches.
