The Félix Candela Award is an international, two-phase architecture ideas competition conducted in Spanish. It is organized annually by the Spanish Institute of Architecture (IESARQ) and is open to students of architecture, landscape architecture, urbanism, and design, as well as young architects, landscape architects, urbanists, and designers, participating either individually or in teams of two to three members.

“MIAS.The making of making (architecture)” analyses the design processes of MIAS. Through the works produced by the studio, the show takes an in-depth look at all that goes on before the work is built. These pieces showcase a journey through the design process by exploring seven areas: Between Lines, Everything Could Happen, Oneiric Spaces, Assemblage, Takeaway Architecture, X-RAYS and Ripped Surfaces. These concepts address some of the fundamental actions behind the creative and productive process of the studio.
Another exhibition by the "Modern Furniture Restoration Workshop School of the IFB" is now on display at the Brasília Art Museum (MAB), organized by the IFB Samambaia Campus. This initiative serves as a contribution to heritage and museum education, functioning as an integrated effort between teaching, research, and outreach that leverages its educational potential and capacity for social transformation to foster the dissemination and discussion of Brasília's culture and history.
“Architects After Architecture”
The Daniels Faculty at the University of Toronto and Black Students in Design (BSD) are launching a 10-week mentorship program called Building Black Success through Design (BBSD). BBSD is a free mentorship + design competition created by Black students for Black students interested in design and architecture. Participants in this program will work with Black architecture and design university students who will act as mentors, guiding them through a series of workshops that reflect each step of the design competition. Article 25’s 10x10 online art auction is open for bidding and will be accessible until 8.30 pm on the 1st of December. This year marks the sixtieth anniversary of the Casa en Jean Mermoz, a cornerstone of Chilean residential architecture, built on Jean Mermoz Street in the Las Condes district and demolished in 1992. Its architect, Fabio Cruz Prieto, pioneered a highly distinctive approach to conceiving, designing, and constructing architecture, in which every part and stage of the work was simultaneously autonomous and complementary.
