São Paulo, like other global metropolises, faces significant challenges in managing its water resources, including diffuse urban water pollution and flooding—consequences of an accelerated urbanization process that often overlooks the biophysical potential of its natural landscapes. In this context, Green Infrastructure is recognized as a landscape design method capable of mitigating and treating water pollutants through the creation of multifunctional landscapes. These integrate Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) for ecological source-control management and adapt gray infrastructure to the hydrological cycle, while simultaneously reducing flood risks, providing opportunities for the revitalization of urban watercourses, and delivering additional ecosystem services to society.
Created to be one of the largest events on the Brazilian architectural calendar, DOMO brings together established professionals from the country and prominent names in global architecture to discuss the design and function of facades in architectural projects.

The mobile photography workshop will explore the relationships between street photography and architectural photography
Whether it is a fleeting snapshot or a professional record, people have never photographed an era as much as they do today. The mobile phone, acting almost as an extension of the body, creates various connections between us, time, and space; it is through this daily photography that we document our time. As an exercise in observation and selection, this mobile photography workshop will address the relationship between street photography and architectural photography, including a field trip to Sesc 24 de Maio, in São Paulo.

In 2016, then-mayor of São Paulo João Doria announced a renovation project for Largo do Arouche, dubbed "Little Paris." The name refers to the square's French-inspired urban design and seeks to erase the memory of what can be considered one of the city's first LGBT+ territories. The project by the Franco-Brazilian firm Triptyque reinforces this narrative by failing to engage in a broad dialogue with the local community.

It fills a void by providing a dedicated space for the screening and discussion of films that focus on other artistic disciplines, thereby broadening the audience for various forms of creative expression.
A new initiative from the cultural center, the project ‘Japan at the Pritzker: Architectural Legacy in the Contemporary Scene’ celebrates the fact that Japan is the most represented country in the Pritzker Prize. To kick off the series, Kazuyo Sejima of the duo SANAA, winner of the 2010 Pritzker Prize, will give a lecture on her solo career and her work within the architecture firm SANAA, as well as present recent projects, on September 9th at 7:00 PM.
