Romullo Baratto is an architect with a PhD from FAUUSP and Managing Editor of ArchDaily. He previously coordinated the editorial team of the 11th São Paulo Architecture Biennial and served as Managing Editor of ArchDaily Brasil, where he led the platform to win the FNA Award—the first time the honor was granted to a media outlet. He collaborated on the editing of the book "Concrete Jungle", published by gestalten, and has curated architecture exhibitions in Brazil, Chile, Denmark, and Italy, as well as delivered lectures and moderated debates in Spain, the United States, and Portugal. His doctoral thesis investigates the urban landscapes of São Paulo through cinema. The Projetar.org portal has released the results of its 30th competition, which challenged participants to design a Bauhaus campus in Brazil. The project would be located next to the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro, where Max Bill envisioned one of Brazil's first design schools, based on the principles of the Bauhaus and its German successor, the Ulm School.

The Casa da Arquitectura - Portuguese Centre for Architecture has reached an agreement with Pritzker laureate Eduardo Souto de Moura to deposit his archive at the Portuguese institution. Signed on May 6, the agreement adds approximately 8,500 drawings and all textual and photographic documentation detailing the projects from the architect's 40-year career to the 604 models already housed at the institution since 2009.
The new São Paulo Cycling Plan, recently presented by Mayor Bruno Covas, outlines the implementation of 173.3 kilometers of new bike lanes and paths in the capital.
