The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism (Minvu) has launched an open call for architects to design a future flora conservation center to be located in the Metropolitan Park (Parquemet).

This initiative by the German multinational PVC profile systems company introduces new features this year: projects will be evaluated in two categories (Horizontal Architecture and Vertical Architecture) and must have been executed in any Latin American country.

Eligible works for the second edition of the Oscar Niemeyer Award for Latin American Architecture include those recognized by a REDBAAL-member biennial or selected by a national association or college of architects in the aforementioned Latin American countries where no REDBAAL-affiliated biennial exists.
