The Lisbon Architecture Triennale and Garagem Sul – Centro Cultural de Belém aim to organize a conference cycle that addresses themes of great societal relevance and facilitates the sharing of contemporary practices, bringing renowned thinkers to Lisbon with a particular focus on the European context.
The first annual MICROHOME architecture competition is part of the Bee Breeders Small Scale Architecture Appreciation Movement, which hopes to highlight the fact that bigger isn’t always better. In 2018, the City of São Paulo enacted Law 16.833, which established the creation of the Minhocão Municipal Park and, consequently, the gradual decommissioning of the João Goulart Elevated Highway's vehicular function. This act, along with the series of events that led to it, inspires us to reflect not only on the future of urban mobility—which is increasingly sensitive to social issues—but, more importantly, on the public's urgent demand for more leisure spaces amidst contemporary urban chaos.
Argentina was selected by vote at the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions to host Expo 2023. For the first time on Latin American soil, the event focuses on creative industries as a synthesis of science, art, and technology to drive economic growth, increase employment, foster intelligence, improve quality of life, and generate sustainable development.

BRIEF
On the evening of April 15th, 2019 the world held its breath as the Notre-Dame Cathedral was engulfed in flames. A few hours after the fire begun, the centuries-old cathedral had lost its entire roof, spire, and was severely damaged by the flames. Thankfully it was not completely destroyed and many priceless artifacts from the interior were saved.
