Call for Entries: 1X1 Collection Colombia 2022

On Wednesday, June 22, at 5:30 PM, the International Archive of Women in Architecture (IAWA), the Colombian Society of Architects National Presidency (SCA-PN), and the Colombian Architects (AC) initiative invite all architects in the country and their colleagues to learn about the "1x1 Colombia 2022 Collection" Open Call.

Design Competition for the Architecture Awards Sculpture

The Spanish Council of Architects (CSCAE) has launched a competition for the design of the sculpture to be awarded to the winners of the Architecture Awards. COMPAC, as the official sponsor of the awards, will provide participants with the materials to create the piece. The design must be original, and the competition is open to architects and multidisciplinary teams of artists and designers working in collaboration with architects. The deadline for submitting proposals is April 22. The winner will receive a cash prize of 5,000 euros.

CICOP Chile Award 2022: Architecture Thesis Projects

CICOP Chile invites architects who graduated between October 1, 2019, and September 30, 2021, from any architecture school in the Latin American countries where the International Federation of CICOP Centers has national chapters—Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Chile, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay—to participate in the CICOP Chile 2022 Award. Entrants must submit final degree or thesis projects developed with a focus on the intervention of buildings, building complexes, or areas of heritage value, regardless of whether they are protected by national regulations.

RADICAL 2030: Spring 22 Call for Entries

The Paris Agreement is an international treaty on climate change. Adopted by 196 countries in Paris on December 12, 2015, it entered into force on November 4, 2016. Its goal is to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius—preferably 1.5 degrees—compared to pre-industrial levels. To achieve this long-term temperature goal, countries aim to peak greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible to achieve a climate-neutral planet by mid-century. This entails reducing domestic greenhouse gas emissions by at least 40% by 2030 relative to 1990 levels.

2022 National Architecture Award in Chile: Open Call

In keeping with a tradition dating back to 1969, the Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile (Association of Architects of Chile) is calling for nominations for the 2022 National Architecture Award. This is the highest honor an architect or architectural team can receive in the country. According to the Regulations for Awards and Distinctions, the prize recognizes individuals "whose career and ethical and professional performance have set an example for all architects, in any manifestation of professional practice, whether in the field of architectural execution, academic work, professional association involvement, public service, or public management."
