The Thermolight®100 insulation insert consists of extremely thin spun glass fibers coated with a light-stable binding agent and interwoven into a lightweight, translucent glass fiber mat. The enclosed standing air cushion significantly enhances thermal insulation, resulting in an improved U-value and reduced heat gain during summer months, while also providing effective sun protection and glare control.
The woven glass fiber structure ensures a high degree of light scattering, allowing uniform daylight penetration without harsh shadows. This quality improves visual comfort and supports balanced interior illumination, making Thermolight®100 particularly suitable for large-scale public, commercial, and institutional buildings.
