Since 1937, glass fabricators and automotive engineers have counted on Saflex® for high-quality products, reliable service, and expert advice to help deliver world-class technology for laminated glass. Clear PVB interlayers from Saflex were used in the New Port Project 64, located in Doha, Qatar.

PLP Architecture was in charge of building this port infrastructure, for which 3,000 sqm of 1.52 mm Clear PVB interlayers. Saflex interlayer adds post-breakage safety and security to laminated safety glass applications.

Saflex interlayers reduce the risk of injury from broken glass because the glass adheres to the interlayer after impact. Clear PVB Interlayer also helps ensure glass stays in place and resists entry or penetration in cases of bomb blasts, ballistic attacks, forced entry, or similar other types of vandalism.
