The Grad Clips system by Tantimber ensures equal spacing between the Grad grooved ThermoWood products and provides 0.2" of space between the products and the support joists. As a result, a free airflow is enabled between the pieces, which prevents any moisture from accumulating between the boards, thus increasing the longevity of the construction. It also facilitates the replacement of any broken or damaged component after long-term use without touching undamaged areas.
Grad Clips are made from polyoxymethylene plastic (POM) adding strength and flexibility, the hidden fasteners are naturally resistant to rot. Tantimber hidden fasteners offer an excellent alternative solution for installing, maintaining, and modifying any project using ThermoWood products.
