More about this product

Throughout the history of humanity, housing has become one of the most important requirements for a secure and comfortable life. Thus, from past to present, caves have become shelters and shelters have become more advanced structures. However, the ongoing dilemma between security and freedom also involves the need to be sheltered. While providing the necessary security to people, the buildings also restricted their freedom.

With developing technology, overcoming this dilemma is achievable. While providing comfort and safety, retractable skylights can let nature’s energy flow and you can experience spaciousness and coziness thanks to them.

ClearSky retractable skylights are installed in existing buildings or supporting steel structures. The system retracts fully to leave nothing between the inside and outside once opened and is designed to provide the flexibility of an interior or exterior living area. The systems are manufactured site specifically and according to user needs from seven base models and are ideal for commercial spaces that are in a need of a retractable roof with a clear opening.

Motorized Retraction

ClearSky uses SecurTrak™ motorized retraction from Libart to provide sturdiness against wind loads and structural safety. The motorized retraction uses 24VDC, 220 or 380 VAC motors and has extensive operating options as specified per project.

Design

Unlike Libart Dome systems, these systems have their rails located on top of the roof area. With the rails connected directly to the roof surface, ClearSky Retractable Skylights provide extensive strength against snow and wind loads.

ClearSky retractable skylights have two main models that have a difference in the angle of the first profile position to the roof. In the "FB" models the first profile is 90 degrees to the roof and in the "7B" models the first profile is 70 degrees to the roof. The type of ClearSky retractable skylights used depends on the span of the roof opening. The system can start with two segmented profiles (A7B) and go up to eight segmented profiles (V7B).
