The company, beating heart of the Group, is located in Osoppo in the province of Udine. Fantoni is internationally renowned as an industrial entity in the production of office furniture, chipboard and MDF panels. Shifting from energy production to the development of new materials to conducting ergonomic research to applying a sustainable design to producing adhesives and to finally promoting cultural values. We are constantly striving to improve our course while fixing our focus on the goal: individuals, their health, and comfort.
The historical milestone that embodies the company’s philosophy is the Multipli project, a range of furniture, designed by architect Gino Valle in 1968, to suit office environments. This solution aims to replace the ‘top-down structure'' office concept with an open system in constant evolution by using the modular shape and dimensions. The concept is bare of all decorative and functional details, including the handles. The basic concept of the Multipli collection with its unmistakable 45° angle, that visually cancels the thickness of the tops making of the single piece a perfect volume, can be found in most of Fantoni’s operative and executive collections. The plants in Rivoli di Osoppo cover an area of about 1 square kilometer, a workforce of 700 people and contain investments that exceed 350 million euros.
