Bodegas Solar de Samaniego has launched the international ideas competition "Solar de Samaniego, Integrated Landscape," which aims to integrate the winery into the natural and cultural landscape of Rioja Alavesa and continue the work of preserving its historical legacy and winemaking heritage. Launched with the advice and collaboration of the UNESCO Chair on Cultural Landscapes and Heritage at the UPV, the initiative will involve an intervention on the facade and exterior of its facilities, which date back to the 1970s and are located at the foot of the medieval town of Laguardia.
With the support of CEMEX and the Arq. Marcelo Zambrano Scholarship, the first edition of the CEMEX Pavilion 2018 competition is now open. Open to the student community in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, participants are invited to intervene in a heritage property located in the city's historic center. The goal is to provide a fresh platform for students to express their concerns and passions regarding the craft through a built project, bridging the gap between academia and professional practice.

With the III International Forum of Urban Interventions just a few months away, the event organizers have launched an open call inviting the public to intervene in the official poster by creating their own version. "We want this forum to reach as many citizens as possible and involve them in reclaiming their public spaces. Intervening in the city is a duty, in order to make it a better place. We are offering the poster as one more opportunity for citizens to participate in this event," stated Mariana Alegre, Coordinator of Lima Cómo Vamos, a citizen observatory that organizes this urban forum through its initiative, Ocupa tu calle.

BNKR Arquitectura is an architecture, urbanism, and research firm based in Mexico City, founded by Esteban Suárez in 2005. After visiting border cities and major Brazilian capitals, having trained approximately 400 professionals, the workshops are now arriving in the Northeast. The International Market Training program aims to expand the job market for Brazilian professionals, particularly in neighboring countries such as Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and French Guiana.
