With the support of CEMEX and the Arq. Marcelo Zambrano Scholarship, the first edition of the CEMEX Pavilion 2018 competition is now open. Open to the student community in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, participants are invited to intervene in a heritage property located in the city's historic center. The goal is to provide a fresh platform for students to express their concerns and passions regarding the craft through a built project, bridging the gap between academia and professional practice.
Proposals will be judged by internationally recognized architecture firms. Results will be published on the architecture platform ArchDaily, and the winning project will be built with the support of CEMEX and documented with photography by César Béjar Studio.
