Session 241. Esteban Suárez "Polygamous Architecture"

BNKR Arquitectura is an architecture, urbanism, and research firm based in Mexico City, founded by Esteban Suárez in 2005. The firm has experimented with architecture at the widest possible scale, ranging from small, iconic private chapels to master plans for entire cities. BNKR is a multidisciplinary practice composed of architects, urban planners, and designers. They provide unique, unconventional solutions to specific problems, moving beyond the pursuit of a particular style or signature. The firm has received several international awards, including first place at the 2014 Iconic Awards in Germany, the 2014 International Architecture Awards in Chicago, the 2013 Architizer A+ Awards in New York, the 2012 Quito Biennial in Ecuador, the 2011 AZURE Awards in Toronto, and the 2012 Building of the Year award from Plataforma Arquitectura in Chile.
