INTRODUCTION:
The social catastrophe of Latin America has its epicenter in the popular settlements.
It is in Latin America, the most urbanized and unequal region in the world, where 104 million people live in popular settlements. Here, 1 of every 4 inhabitants of urban areas, lives in a slum, villa, favela or camp, in a situation of poverty. These populations must subsist by their own means, with the constant violation of their rights.

The exhibition features projects by the diverse design professionals, as well as quotes and video interviews on their experiences in the architecture and design professions. The concept of this exhibit is "To see our faces, hear our voices, feel our impact within the colorful tapestry of our heritage." SAY IT LOUD is the activation of a national movement of sharing, protecting and celebrating the journey of the underrepresented to inspire the next generation. SAY IT LOUD engages diverse audiences through programming organized at the time of exhibition to elevate the identities and contributions of minority architects and designers

The $100,000 RAIC International Prize for transformative architecture is inviting submissions for its third edition, the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) is pleased to announce.

This unique international award, formerly known as the Moriyama RAIC International Prize, recognizes the power of great architecture to transform society. For more than 20 years, The Arhitext Design Foundation has been developing editorial and cultural projects that raise awareness of the national and international state of architecture, urbanism, design and visual arts. Framing the world capital architecture as a place of dialogue, the time to build architecture for architecture

The U.S. Department of State and the National Endowment for the Arts Design Program announce that the call for applications has been posted for the U.S. presentation at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition held in Venice, Italy, from May 23 to November 29, 2020. The Venice Architecture Biennale exhibition is the premier showcase for revolutionary ideas in contemporary architecture and design through national venues.

This call for applications is specifically for the exhibition at the U.S. Pavilion. The award amount is $325,000 (including $125,000 for pavilion management), with potential additional funding pending availability from the National Endowment for the Arts.
