The James Harrison Steedman Fellowship in Architecture is open to anyone, anywhere in the world, who has received an accredited degree in architecture within the last eight years. The $50,000 fellowship is granted biannually to support 6-12 months of international travel for architectural research. This year's theme is Infrastructures, developed by jury chair Andrea Leers, Principal and Co-Founder, Leers Weinzapfel Associates. The fellowship is jointly administered by the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis and AIA St.

rise in the city is a unique international architecture competition for students and recent graduates worldwide. The challenge is to design affordable and sustainable housing solutions for Africa’s growing population. We invite all innovative problem solvers in the built environment to design a low-income housing prototype in an effort to curb Lesotho’s housing problem in an environment challenged by increased urban migration, climate change, and scarcity of resources.
The FIBRA Award rewards teams that incorporate plant-based materials in their buildings while proposing innovative solutions, giving added value to local resources and know-how, and taking into account aesthetic values. The ambition of its initiators is to promote the current dynamics that encourage the use of locally-sourced bio-based materials.

TRANS PLAN is an international student design competition organized by A2G (Architecture Gallery at the Faculty of Architecture University of Manitoba). Enter the Glenn Murcutt Student Master Class Competition
The Glenn Murcutt Master Class Student Intern Competition is open to students currently participating in the Architectural Master's Degree at any Australian University. The winning student will be offered a place as an intern during the second week of the Master Class at Eco Outdoor Sydney in September 2018.
The intern role will see the student assigned to a team of Master Class participants and working alongside them to complete their final project by assisting with drawings, the sourcing of materials and making of models.
Eco Outdoor will cover the cost of the student's domestic flights, airport transfers, accommodation and meals.
