Housing from the ground to the sky The residential complex
Award Winning Design - BRONZE A DESIGN AWARD
In modern architecture, high-rise building and skyscrapers was proposed as one of the effective factors to urban problems. This proposed method causes so much problems in these cities conditions such as twinkling city skyline, environmental pollution, disturbing privacy and also undesirable view of the buildings lower in height, safety factors, communication problems, installation, Etc.
Skyscrapers, each trying to reach their peak in such a way that they aim to connect the earth to the sky. Somehow they are bridges from earth to sky.
Dome is one of the main organs and important elements of ancient architecture. The whole story cannot be uttered properly in a short article. This architecture component, not only in Islamic culture but also in all cultures is a symbol of spherical. Circle is the best and most complete Shape that Evokes perfection.
Continuity between the dome and the cubic space beneath it in Islamic architecture is achieved by Creating Mogharnas. This element is a device for Relying circular dome to it top box. Romans used Angular shape for this link. Here was that Mogharnas networks gradually developed that in terms of engineering and physics divided the dome weight. In the meantime, the dome represented sky and the cubic space beneath it represented earth and the arc was the link between earth and sky. This happened in skyscrapers in a completely different mode that is associated with many problems.
Thus, the pattern and division of Mogharnas and the rural architecture were modeled for the layout of residential units.
So, according to the explanations given, we decided that instead of connecting earth to sky, connect the sky to earth, In addition to addressing the social and structural problems of cities, use earth energy to help sustain the environment and healthy lives of humans.
