The Oscar Niemeyer Award for Latin American Architecture, or ON Award, was established as an initiative of the Latin American Architecture Biennials Network (REDBAAL), founded in Quito through a constitutive act signed on November 23, 2012, during the XVIII Pan-American Architecture Biennial of Quito (BAQ 2012).
Des-Adarve aims to be a gateway, open to the public, to explore the iconic spaces of the city of Tudela through participation and contemporary art, while simultaneously highlighting its architectural and cultural heritage.
Participants are asked to redesign Al-Umma Park as a green lung within the capital's dense urban fabric, creating an optimistic vision for the future and a safe space for public gatherings and socializing.
