Such is the case of La Salle University in Cuernavaca, that under this premise, develops a plan of curricular expansion and presents society with new undergraduate and graduate programs.

From this situation arises an expansion in the physical plan and infrastructure of the university, and the project "La Salle Cuernavaca University Annex Building".

Located opposite the prep school building, the building is located in an area with a specific geometry, which includes several endemic tree species that govern the original approach.

The building is oriented north-south, looking for the best natural ventilation and lighting for almost every month of the year.

As a result from the analysis and proposal for the facades, the north facade is 75% ventilated through aluminum lattices, while the south facade is protected from the sun with ceramic finishes on walls and parasols on the windows.

The architectural program includes a basement with service areas, cafeteria, auditorium or mixed use hall, and access to garden areas. On the ground floor, the reception and the spaces for the tourism and gastronomy school, with laboratories, workshops and kitchen. The first level houses classrooms for the more advanced degrees of high school, finally the second level houses the undergraduate and graduate students at different times.

The architectural concept of integrating the project with reference to the site is presented as an element that integrates the various activities of the university campus.
