Text description provided by the architects. The house projected, is the long rewarded fruit of more than four years of research, sketches, inquiries, models and meetings with the owners. But we also have to say that, it is the result of a good understanding and comprehension between owners and architect.

This pine forest of "Flassía" where the house is located, has been very mistreated in the past 6 years by the owners who have been buying land. Every new person has been logging the pines of their land to make “look good their home". The owners of this house (T+G2), they wanted instead to be more respectful with their environment: the house is becoming a way through the trees and it searches some privacy with the adjacent buildings. The August 1998 I made a first drawing with each tree located, defining the type, perimeter and diameter of each trunk.

Access to property is made by the Avenida de Catalunya, where the façade is separated six meters and a half of the limit, to respect the three large existing pine trees. To access the enter door of the house we have to make a pleasant stroll along the right side of the volume occupied by the garage, kitchen and dining room, where a magnificent oak tree defines us the entrance. The lobby is at the farthest point of the house, from both access and fence, and from the garage door. When we enter, we can enjoy a double height, that emphasizes this point, where the stairs to the upper floor begin, and a bath day next to it is located.

A sliding door separates us from the lobby to the place to eat that is connected with a pleasant first courtyard. The kitchen and laundry are located in one space in front of the place of eating, also connected with a second courtyard. We access to the stay place through a short corridor that leaves at its right this second courtyard that belongs to the kitchen and laundry.

The stay place is a space very grateful, with the bearing walls of gray concrete block. At its right, we can see the garden in its upper part and at its left there is a "pleural space" covered, with a interior/exterior relation, pleasant and very usable in the summer, enjoying the existing vegetation. Next to it, there is the main hall accompanied by a large main closet, and a bathroom connected with a small third courtyard.

The upper floor of the house is designed for the two rooms for the daughters with a shared dressing room, a bathroom and a large area of study, from which we could access to the terrace, roof of the inferiors rooms. A home with a comfortable austerity, a house full of sensations and interior wealth, it’s adequated to the new understanding of the new ways of living, A house were we found us comfortable, and were we can enjoy the wonderful nature that surrounds it.
