A heart-shaped sculpture by Gage Clemenceau Architects will land on today. It will stay on Duffy Square until March 1st. The sculpture is constructed with DuPontTM Corian® strawberry ice and welded steel tubes. The heart is lit from within using color changing LED lighting.

It is lazy, boring and trite non-sense like this that gives digital architecture a bad name. This project is beyond kitch; horrid to the nth degree. What’s even worst is that Gage Clemenceau Architects have been described as ‘Avant-garde’?! Really?! ‘Average’ is beyond a polite term for their work as a whole.
