Times Square celebrates Valentine’s Day
A heart-shaped sculpture by Gage Clemenceau Architects will land on Times Square today. It will stay on Duffy Square until March 1st. The sculpture is constructed with DuPontTM Corian® strawberry ice and welded steel tubes. The heart is lit from within using color changing LED lighting.

do they always photoshop blue skies and clouds into times square?
It is lazy, boring and trite non-sense like this that gives digital architecture a bad name. This project is beyond kitch; horrid to the nth degree. What’s even worst is that Gage Clemenceau Architects have been described as ‘Avant-garde’?! Really?! ‘Average’ is beyond a polite term for their work as a whole.
