Open to the student community in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, participants are invited to intervene in a heritage property located in the city's historic center. The goal is to provide a fresh platform for students to express their concerns and passions regarding the craft through a built project, bridging the gap between academia and professional practice.
The goal of this competition is to award the design of a construction element, piece of furniture, sculpture, roof, slab, wall, assembly, prototype, or module to be built using tile vaults. This is the first competition organized by the "Taller de Bóvedas" group, aimed at promoting and encouraging new designs using tile vaults across all fields. Furthermore, as an incentive, the winner will see their design realized during the 7th Advanced Vault Workshop 2018.

The UIA-HYP CUP 2026 International Student Competition in Architectural Design is now open for registration. Now entering its 15th consecutive edition, the UIA-HYP CUP is the only UIA-endorsed international student architecture competition held annually in mainland China. Organized by the School of Architecture, Tianjin University; the School of Architecture, Inner Mongolia University of Technology; and Urban Environment Design (UED) Magazine, the competition provides a global platform for architecture students to engage with contemporary architectural, urban, and environmental challenges.
