For the first time, LIGA presents the work of a Cuban architecture firm: Infraestudio. The studio, led by Anadis González and Fernando Martirena, addresses various conflicts and challenges in its daily practice, including job insecurity in a context where private architecture is illegal. Despite this obstacle, they have managed to develop a provocative body of built work that they intertwine with proposals linked to artistic practices.

The Build: from high to low tech event returns for its second edition at the Casa da Arquitectura in Matosinhos, Porto.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Instituto Cultural Vale, the Museu A CASA do Objeto Brasileiro and Alcantarino Design are presenting the exhibition "Caboclos da Amazônia: arquitetura, design e música" from September 30 to January 7, 2024, at the institution's headquarters located at 1216 Rua Pedroso de Moraes, in Pinheiros, São Paulo.
The congress aims to showcase the possibilities that products and technologies currently available in the construction market, along with global trends, offer to architectural design. It is aimed at architects, engineers, consultants, manufacturers, architectural glass processors, suppliers for the enclosure industry, and representatives of construction companies. Over its twelve previous editions, SISTECCER has established itself as a meeting point for experts from both the country and abroad to expand knowledge on building envelope technologies.

The Núcleo Descerimonioso de Teatro premieres the play Uma Branca Sombra Pálida, loosely inspired by the short story by Lygia Fagundes Telles. The play features dramaturgy by Vinicius Garcia Pires and is directed by Mario Spatizziani. The season runs from September 9 to 17, with performances on Saturdays at 9:00 PM and Sundays at 7:00 PM at the Teatro Commune. For the past ten years, the MEXTRÓPOLI Architecture and City Festival has established itself as an event that promotes a space to think about, celebrate, and reflect on the city through architecture. The festival brings together specialists, students, citizens, public officials, artists, journalists, and more for a gathering across various locations and through diverse activities, aiming to delve into, discuss, and enjoy one of humanity's greatest inventions: cities.
Those familiar with the multicolored fractals of visual artist, sculptor, and muralist Tché Ruggi—scattered across cities ranging from São Paulo, where he began around 2000, to Kassel, Germany—will encounter works that reveal a new perspective. Far from abandoning spray paint cans and techniques, Tché promotes what he calls a "purification" through the works that make up the exhibition S E N S U S—experiencing something through the senses and reason—which opens on September 28.

TAQ Arquitectura, through its architectural outreach initiative, invites you to "Kinéma," a talk exploring the intersection of architecture and stop-motion animation. The event features four prominent creators—Rita Basulto, Sofía Carrillo, Cecilia Andalón, and Elisa Helguera—and will be held at El Taller del Chucho, a space dedicated to the creation, experimentation, and promotion of the stop-motion industry.
