Young Balkan Designers (YBD) is a regional talent platform founded in 2011 with the aim to identify, promote and develop creative potential of the Balkan region in the field of design. The initiative also aims at unifying the regional design scene, bringing it closer to the international audience, strengthening its potential by providing additional education and practice, while at the same time contributing to the restoration of multi-cultural cooperation in the Balkan region.

Teams will design and build, from the ground up, model net zero-energy homes that demonstrate how innovative applications of building science and technology can help mitigate climate change and alleviate the housing crisis.

Registration is now open for the 2022 admissions process for the undergraduate program in Architecture and Urbanism at Escola da Cidade. Photo Of The Year is an international photo competition for architecture students in celebration of the significance of architectural photography for the development of architecture. This marks the third instalment of the annual competition, which is supported by Dinesen and the Dreyer Foundation.
