The 8th edition of the Furniture Design Award (PREDIM) is an honor organized by the Mexican Association of Suppliers for the Wood and Furniture Industry (AMPIMM, A.C.) and the MEM Industrial expo, with the support of DI-INTEGRA and ArchDaily. The award is presented by industry specialists to students of industrial design, interior design, or architecture. The Fábrica de Restauro Laboratory is a collaborative social mobilization project aimed at discussing historical, tangible, and intangible heritage. The proposal of the LAB Fábrica de Restauro is to train professionals from all fields—including painters, masons, carpenters, locksmiths, and architects—to provide restoration services and to engage the community in the effort to conserve these spaces.

Factory of Ideas and Innovation is the theme for the 12th edition of the Architecture Student Competition, a project promoted by the Brazilian Center for Steel Construction (CBCA). Interested teams must register between February 4 and July 25; teams must consist of at least two and no more than four students. Each group must be advised by a professor from the same university and may also include a co-advisor.

How can we intervene in existing structures to improve environmental, urban, social, and economic conditions?
The third edition of the 'Proyectar a Conciencia' 3.0 competition, scheduled for the second half of 2019, addresses this question by inviting teams of 2 to 4 students, guided by an architect, to explore how to modernize existing buildings to reduce energy consumption and meet contemporary environmental goals—particularly in light of the upcoming COP25.
Participants are asked to redesign Al-Umma Park as a green lung within the capital's dense urban fabric, creating an optimistic vision for the future and a safe space for public gatherings and socializing. Proposals must reflect the park's legacy and integrate existing artworks (the Freedom Monument, the mural, and the statue) into their redesign.
