The Dallas Architecture Forum, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing public education about architecture, design, public space and the urban environment, continues its 2025-2026 Panel Discussion Series on Thursday, March 5, 2026. The Forum is pleased to present a Panel of design and construction leaders whose firms are collaborating on the planning of the new Children’s Health hospital project in Dallas. This Panel Discussion will be held at the Angelika Film Center at Mockingbird Station. This program is FREE to the Public – There is no admission charge. Check-in and pre-Lecture Reception will begin at 6:15 pm in the lobby of the Angelika. The Panel will begin at 7:00 pm.
From March 9 to 15, 2026, the city will host Barragán: Legado Tapatío, a cultural week that activates its memory through architecture itself. The program features an exhibition of contemporary Mexican design, guided tours providing historical context, and cultural experiences that invite participants to engage with architecture through a lens of sensitivity. The intention is not only to remember but to project.

An inclusive approach to the rehabilitation of self-produced areas is essential to promote more objective and widespread knowledge production for the development of new public policies in times of planetary urbanization. To this end, the ISOB - International Seminar on Outros Bairros aims to systematize the interdisciplinary knowledge produced and experienced during the experimental period of the Outros Bairros Initiative (2019-2022), intersecting it with current urban demands. Over four days of meetings, the event will feature various sessions that will allow us to listen to the perspectives of residents from self-produced areas in Mindelo, as well as students and researchers from diverse fields, policymakers, and other participants.

Mission Presentation Taller & Patrimoine is an association with an international scope whose mission is to link the preservation of architectural and cultural heritage with environmental sustainability. Through the Rural Laboratory project, it has been carrying out continuous work for the past two years in Bécal, Mexico, focusing on the restoration of traditional Maya dwellings and the revaluation of traditional construction knowledge as living spaces of identity and sustainability.
Some of the most well-known buildings in the São Paulo landscape and in major metropolises around the world bear his signature, even if few can precisely define his architectural style. This difficulty, far from being a problem, is part of the enigma and strength of Isay Weinfeld, a creator whose work escapes easy labels and defies rigid classifications. However, reducing him solely to architecture would be a mistake. Over five decades of intense and coherent production, the São Paulo-based architect has built a trajectory that traverses design, visual arts, and cinema with rare fluidity. These multiple fronts of activity will be brought together in Etcétera, the most comprehensive exhibition dedicated to his career, which will occupy the Instituto Tomie Ohtake from March 5 to May 17.
As part of the CONTEMPORANEA programme, the House of Architecture of Rome promotes the Call for Proposal 2026, addressed to architects, planners, landscape architects and/or conservation specialists, and aimed at selecting a research project to be developed through the use of the space known as "Monitor P" at the Casa dell'Architettura of Rome for a three-month period, between April and June 2026.

Experimental Foundation’s Spring Fellowship with revalu supports practice based research by emerging architectural practices with applied industry experience. The Fellowship is aimed at practitioners who seek to contribute to a transformative shift in the building sector. It is intended for architects collaborating with clients (developers, public or private) or industry partners who seek to implement regenerative, circular, and climate-conscious solutions in pilot projects, through innovative, systemic-analytical approaches.
Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House (Buffalo, New York) is pleased to announce a call for applications to its Creative Residency Program. The residency provides individuals from multiple disciplines a thought-provoking environment in which to produce new works of the imagination inspired by one of the great examples of 20th century architecture. Applications to the 2027 season will open on March 30, 2026 and close on April 24, 2026. They will be accepted in two distinct categories. The Artist Program supports the development and presentation of creative works as they relate to Martin House. The Researcher Program provides opportunities to conduct research that will lead to published texts or projects in various fields, again as they relate to Frank Lloyd Wright and Martin House. Creative makers who are selected to participate will generally spend 2-4 weeks onsite either consecutively or incrementally within the residency term: June - October, 2027. Residents are also expected to deliver a free public program, performance, exhibition, or other creative presentation in order to share their Martin House-inspired work with the larger public. Residents will receive a stipend of $5,000. Travel expenses of up to $1,000 will also be provided to residents who are from outside the Buffalo-Niagara region. The Creative Residency Program is an opportunity for the Martin House to respond to and engage with our community. We anticipate that it will lead to more robust interpretations of Frank Lloyd Wright, the Martin House, and the people who once lived and worked here so as to expand the dialogue as to what great architecture is and why it matters.
