The housing deficit in Peru currently stands at 1.8 million, with 20.9% being quantitative and 79.1% qualitative. 70% of homes are built without the technical assistance of an architect or engineer. Do you want to be part of the change? The right to housing is the right to a dignified home: this is the shared goal of DNADD and Techo Perú—to redesign a new modular housing model capable of providing Lima's populations with basic necessities and a space worthy of being called a "home."

"Indigenous Benches of Brazil" Exhibition at the MAI in Curitiba

Starting November 13, the Museu de Arte Indígena (MAI) in Curitiba will host the exhibition Bancos Indígenas do Brasil (Indigenous Seats of Brazil), which features 38 pieces from the BEI collection, a documentary on the production process with artist testimonials, and a series of debates on Indigenous art. The seats were crafted by peoples from various regions of the upper and lower Xingu, the southern Amazon, the Midwest, northern Pará, the Guianas, and the northwestern Amazon. The exhibition is free to the public and will run until February 11.

    This ideas competition considers water landscapes, and more specifically rivers, as mediators in the necessary harmonic and dynamic balance that must exist between cities and nature. The fluvial (geomorphological) restoration approach will be used to revitalize a river, thereby understanding its natural system to inform design adapted to that system.
