The Green Building Brasil International Conference is now open for free registration. Starting on the 21st, the event will feature dozens of sessions available to all participants.
The green building movement, focused on sustainable construction, celebrates its 15th anniversary in Brazil with impressive figures. Following a 20% growth during the pandemic, the sector is projected to grow by 25% to 30% in 2022 compared to the previous year's project volume. Known for the LEED certification, which targets high-end commercial developments, the Green Building Council Brasil (GBC) expects to register over 200 projects in 2022. This marks the strongest year for LEED in the last five years, as well as for the residential certification program (GBC CASA&CONDOMÍNIO).
It is against this backdrop of expansion that the Green Building Brasil International Conference will begin on the 21st. The event will span 15 consecutive days of technical lectures, master series, expert interviews, and other activities. Registration is free, and over 10,000 participants are expected to attend.
