Distendidos, the architecture talk series in Rosario, returns with a new format.

In collaboration, CityMakers and ArchDaily are issuing a final call to apply for one of the 50% tuition-free scholarships to participate in the Barcelona CityMakers Lab 2019. This experience, focused on city-making, learning, and networking, promotes the transformation of cities and territories by connecting professionals from around the world in the "mecca" of urbanism, allowing them to explore practices in global projection, mobility, the built environment, economy, and governance, and to inspire change within their own communities.

The most significant architecture event in northern Spain will take place in November: the Mugak International Architecture Biennial of the Basque Country will fill the three Basque capitals with architecture, featuring over fifty exhibitions, lectures, screenings, and workshops.

Green Infrastructure is a landscape planning and design method based on creating a network of blue-green landscapes (vegetation and water systems) that perform infrastructural functions while providing ecosystem services to cities. In green infrastructure, design is conceived based on the biogeophysical potential and limitations of the landscape, and water management is carried out through Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) such as rain gardens, bioswales, vegetated infiltration basins, and wetlands, which adapt existing infrastructure to the hydrological cycle and other ecological processes.

"A Thicket and a Palm at a Street" is an installation conceived in collaboration with the Berlin-based practice Something Fantastic that proposes pausing to consider what already exists. Through a specific framing, the work transforms a familiar landscape into something strange, inviting us to reflect on how we relate to the environment we inhabit.

As part of the curatorial cycle "Preparing the cohabitation of plants, animals and people," barco galería invites you to tune into the series of conversations accompanying the installation "A Thicket and a Palm at a Street," conceived in collaboration with the Berlin-based practice Something Fantastic. The series consists of four meetings that expand on the questions raised by the installation, connecting them to broader issues.
