The eighth edition of the CINECOAR Film and Architecture Cycle is taking place, organized by the Fundación Cultural de Arquitectos de La Rioja in collaboration with the Filmoteca Rafael Azcona. As in previous editions, we aim to examine various themes related to the city and our role as citizens.
‘Housing the Basque Country (Vivienda Pública en Euskadi/Euskadiko Etxebizitza Publikoa). 1981-2018’ is the title of an ambitious exhibition summarizing nearly four decades of public housing policy in the Basque Country since the transfer of powers to the regional government.
Reinier de Graaf joined OMA in 1996. He is responsible for construction and masterplanning projects in Europe, Russia, and the Middle East, including Holland Green in London (completed in 2016), the new Timmerhuis in Rotterdam (completed in 2015), the G-Star Headquarters in Amsterdam (completed in 2014), De Rotterdam (completed in 2013), and the Norra Tornen residential towers in Stockholm.

MINI Hub, MINI's space for innovation and urban culture in Madrid, resumes its programming in 2018 by addressing the theme of creativity applied to architecture and urbanism. Bartlebooth launches its seventh experiment, Beyond the Human. The Terrain Lab Visiting School is a 10-day research workshop held in collaboration with the Architectural Association in London and the University of Navarra. This year, it will take place at the University of Navarra School of Architecture in Pamplona from June 25 to July 5, 2018. The Lab investigates the geographic, socioeconomic, and cultural forces that shape each territory to formulate hypotheses regarding the future production of landscapes and anthropized territories.
