The LA(H)B (Hospital Architecture Laboratory Barcelona) and the Escola Sert of the Architects' Association of Catalonia present the master's degree "Healthcare Architecture: Present and Future," which will take place in Barcelona—a city recognized as a pioneer in architecture and urban planning, a benchmark in health, and a place with a rich tradition in hospital architecture.
Under the academic direction of renowned architect Mario Corea, the master's program is aimed at architects involved in the design and construction of healthcare facilities—including hospitals, health centers, and primary care clinics—as well as professionals seeking to specialize in this sector.
This edition of the master's program is a natural evolution of the postgraduate course that LA(H)B has successfully offered over the past three years. Accredited by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), this intensive and innovative program consists of four months of in-person study in Barcelona, with sessions held Monday through Friday, morning and afternoon.
