The exhibition "Ezologia — Porous Body of Tbilisi" is now open to the public, presenting the first phase of an interdisciplinary research project on Tbilisian Courtyard, initiated by the multidisciplinary studio NWDS and the Tbilisi-based non-profit Ubani — Tbilisi Cityscape Research Center.

The Ibero-American Architecture Conference, organized by the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture and curated by Professor Fredy Massad, was established to offer a rigorous examination of the realities of professional practice, construction, and architectural research in Ibero-America, while addressing the diverse social, cultural, economic, and territorial contexts that shape the region. The program aims to analyze how architecture responds to some of the major challenges of the 21st century from various local perspectives.

M3 Monaco's Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous competition returns for its sixth edition with an open-architecture Call for Ideas centered on Marina Opatija, on Croatia's Kvarner Bay. This article sets out what the competition asks of designers: a focused, high-impact intervention built around three required buildings, the pillars and sustainability criteria behind the brief, the key dates leading to the August 2026 deadline, and how to enter, free of charge, for professionals and students alike, with the top finalists pitching their work at the Yacht Club de Monaco.

The City of Araraquara, through the Executive Coordination of Housing and the Housing Projects Management office, both under the Secretariat of Urban Development, has opened registration for the "National Public Architectural Design Competition for Social Interest Housing." The competition aims to select designs based on pre-established criteria regarding technology, comfort, performance, and sustainability.

Firms not associated with AsBEA/RJ (new talent) must pay a registration fee of R$ 510.00. This is a one-time fee, regardless of the number of projects submitted to the awards. Should a non-associated firm choose to join the organization, the amount paid will be applied as a credit toward their membership dues.

Architecture and urban planning professionals from across Brazil have until March 30, 2023, to register for the "National Public Architecture and Urban Planning Competition for the Redevelopment of the Central Market of Campina Grande." The City of Gramado, in partnership with the Institute of Architects of Brazil - Rio Grande do Sul Department (IAB/RS), is promoting the National Public Landscape Architecture Competition for the Redevelopment of the surroundings of Lake Joaquina Rita Bier.

Archtrends, the architecture and design portal by Portobello, has opened registration for the 3rd edition of its architecture competition. Interested participants must develop projects based on the theme "What's inside matters" and publish them on the Archtrends website between July 3 and August 7. The top 10 entries will be exhibited at Archtrends Summit 2023, an annual creativity forum hosted by Portobello, taking place at Teatro Santander in São Paulo on September 5. Furthermore, the authors will receive invitations to attend the event.

To celebrate our first year of providing foundational training, Basalto (a school specializing in architectural drawing) has organized a competition for executive details, aimed at reflecting on recent graphic production in light of current standards and improving the execution of executive projects. For this first edition, the theme is: STAIRS.

Emergency initiatives to combat the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic through architecture and urbanism are now eligible for funding from the CAU/SC. On Tuesday, May 26, the Council launched Public Call No. 01/2020, which allocates R$ 75,000 to projects benefiting families in socioeconomic vulnerability, specifically within the realms of Social Interest Housing and Education, Research, and Extension.

Architecture students submitting their final thesis projects or individual academic projects in the second semester of 2020, as well as recent graduates who submitted theirs in the first semester of 2020 or throughout 2019, have the opportunity to win awards for their work. They are eligible to participate in the second Jovem Talento da Arquitetura competition, organized by Minimum.

The CBCA Scientific Research Scholarship will provide a monthly stipend of R$ 1,000 for one year. The application and proposal submission period ends on November 28. The results will be announced on December 12.
