Jacobs was also an activist involved in many mid-century movements in New York to halt the draconian plans of Robert Moses, a powerful builder with significant political influence.

The 4th Smart Cities Congress promotes the exchange of knowledge and experiences regarding Smart Cities in Spain, using technology and innovation as the foundational tools for their development. To this end, it addresses the main topics related to the Smart City in a transversal, multidisciplinary, and multisectoral manner, showcasing initiatives currently being developed in the country.

First Colombian Colloquium on Construction History

The colloquium aims to bring together, for the first time in Colombia, professionals involved in the research, dissemination, registration, documentation, and conservation of construction history in Colombia and Ibero-America to showcase the state of the art in the field.     COMUNAL: Taller de Arquitectura was founded in 2015 in Mexico City by Mariana Ordóñez Grajales, an architect and graduate of the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán. In 2017, architect Jesica Amescua Carrera, a graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana, joined the team.

      On November 11, the mentor selection process, final presentations to the jury, and the announcement of the winner will take place at Archademy.
      The event fosters professional development, practical experience, and networking between participants and partner brands. The challenge: design an interior space using the workshop sponsors' products in under 24 hours.
      The winners will receive a trip to Miami for Miami Art Basel, one of the world's most important modern and contemporary art events, in December 2018.

      Founded in 2016 by three architecture and urbanism students—Matheus Pereira, Ellen Corrêa, and Yasmim Amorim—driven by a desire to analyze urban space and engage in a deeper debate regarding São Paulo's architecture and its layers, the project was born from a commitment to foster a new perception of space among architecture and urbanism students and those interested in the field. This is achieved through the observation of the city and the places we inhabit daily, which we often overlook despite their significance.
