The movement of inhabitants reclaiming urban public spaces is gaining relevance both in Brazil and worldwide. The right to the city is a central topic, and many citizens are now actively participating in decisions regarding their city or engaging in daily activities to improve these spaces. Tactical urbanism, handmade urbanism, human-centered design, social interest design, and the "do it yourself" movement are all approaches that propose a different perspective on building cities alongside their citizens.
