IED presents the exhibition "Utensílios Nativos" (Native Utensils), featuring pieces crafted from certified native Brazilian wood by nine designers: Gustavo Dias, Hugo França, Juliana Llussá, Leonardo Bueno, Natasha Schlobach, Pedro Braga, Ricardo Graham, Rodrigo Ambrósio, and Sérgio Cabral.
The production of these pieces utilized three native woods sourced from agroforestry: guanandi, louro pardo, and jequitibá rosa. The objects range from conceptual, non-functional, interactive, or inanimate pieces to culinary tools such as bowls, fruit bowls, platters, mugs, plates, teapots, wooden spoon sets, cutting boards, and wine racks, among others. The collection also includes items for personal use—jewelry boxes, eyewear, jewelry, intimate accessories, and bookends—as well as home goods, including vases, baskets, stools, lamps, magazine racks, and coat racks.
