The architect, who studied engineering in undergraduate school, leads the building information modeling (BIM) effort at A&Q Partnership and says his studies greatly influenced his interest in information modeling.
His interest extends beyond personal. Relying on BIM framework has been crucial for A&Q Partnership, who work on large, multi-building commercial and residential projects.
The Spanish Council of Architects (CSCAE) has launched a competition for the design of the sculpture to be awarded to the winners of the Architecture Awards. COMPAC, as the official sponsor of the awards, will provide participants with the materials to create the piece. The design must be original, and the competition is open to architects and multidisciplinary teams of artists and designers working in collaboration with architects. The deadline for submitting proposals is April 22. The winner will receive a cash prize of 5,000 euros.
