The Lives of Ephemeral Form examines how architecture persists, changes, and disappears through its records, and what happens when those records are themselves unstable.

Please join us to celebrate INC's 20th anniversary and the release of our first monograph, Us Is More.

FROM FRAGMENTS TO AN URBAN FRAMEWORK

Wood and coastal architecture have always gone together. It's one of the defining materials of coastal structures. But creating that aesthetic in an environment where weather is a constant part of life demands more from the wood you choose.
Rain isn't unique to coastal areas. What makes the coast different is the combination and frequency of exposure. Humidity, ocean winds, salt-laden air, direct sun, and frequent storms repeatedly take wood from wet to dry and back again. In many coastal regions, these aren't occasional weather events. They are simply part of the climate. That makes two characteristics especially important when selecting wood for coastal construction: durability and dimensional stability.

Form Follows Fiction: Six Inquiries brings together six architectural projects that challenge one of architecture's most enduring assumptions: that form follows function. Examining work by six international architects, the exhibition — part of the main program of the 20th Buenos Aires Architecture Biennial — reveals how architecture can emerge from diverse, and often contradictory, narratives and ideas: pragmatic and artistic, collective and individual, pure and complex, restrained and expressive, structured and intuitive, logical and arbitrary. Together, these positions resist any single ideology or consensus.

The Forum at Fabrik invites students and emerging designers to propose a temporary spatial installation for a prominent public-facing site in the Gaslight District, one of Cambridge's emerging cultural and urban destinations.

Join our upcoming annual edition of "modern conversations", where we examine spaces of pedagogy to analyze the shifting terrains of educational practices, institutions, and environments that influence the creation and dissemination of knowledge. This inquiry prompts us to consider: where does learning occur, both historically and in the contemporary world? What is the connection between modernity and education? In what ways has modernity transformed educational spaces? When did education adopt a formal structure, and how was this reflected spatially? How have socio-political dynamics shaped these environments? Most crucially, why is it critical to examine the spaces where education happens?

The City of Gliwice invites entries for a one-stage urban planning, landscape, and architectural design competition to develop a development concept for the Kłodnica Boulevards in Gliwice. The goal of the competition is to obtain a high-quality urban planning, landscape, and architectural concept for the Kłodnica River valley within the city limits of Gliwice. We are seeking visionary solutions that will transform the riverside corridor into a vibrant, multifunctional public space, integrate urban green spaces into a cohesive natural system, create safe walking and biking routes, and strengthen the city’s resilience to climate change.

The Oris Day architectural symposium takes place on Sunday, 8 November 2026, in Zagreb, at the Mozaik Event Centre.
The central programme will bring together this year's Pritzker Prize laureate Smiljan Radić Clarke and Swiss architect Christian Kerez. The audience will have the opportunity to follow their conversation live – a dialogue between two distinguished architects about architecture, the creative process and contemporary challenges facing the profession.
In addition to this conversation, three successful Croatian architectural practices featured in the New Perspectives exhibition, which marked the 11th anniversary of Oris House of Architecture, will also give lectures: NEKOLIKO, Krešimir Damjanović and SKUP-A.
The conversation and lectures will be moderated by Mia Roth Čerina, Vedran Mimica, Maroje Mrduljaš and Dinko Peračić.

IE School of Architecture & Design (IE University) will launch the 2026–27 edition of its RE_SOLUTION public series with a lecture by Fernando Medina, Mayor of Lisbon from 2015 to 2021, followed by a conversation with Jo da Silva, Global Director of Sustainable Development at Arup.

As architectural projects grow more complex and requirements evolve, the ability to iterate quickly is increasingly important to the design process. For Bellway, one of the UK's largest homebuilders, faster design iteration and visualization have become key to meeting these demands. It is not just a way to present finished designs, but also a tool for testing ideas, communicating options, and making decisions earlier in the development process.

The Steel Architectural Awards ASEAN 2026, presented by BlueScope, has announced the 12 finalist projects selected to advance to the ASEAN-level appraisal. Representing outstanding achievements in architecture across Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, the finalists were selected through the Country Awards programs and now move forward to regional evaluation by an international judging panel.
Now in its second ASEAN edition, the program celebrates architectural projects that demonstrate excellence in design, innovation, sustainability, and the creative application of coated steel solutions.
