The skin sees, the eye thinks. Space—and therefore place—is perceived through all the senses. What influences this perception? How can the senses be stimulated to think and, in doing so, open new perspectives of perception?
We aim to experience, capture, and understand this mutual influence in an experimental, playful, and unique way: a sensitive representation of the history of Presidente Prudente: THE THINKING SENSES.

The Fundação Bienal de São Paulo invites the city's residents, especially those who frequent Ibirapuera Park, to experience the Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion in a new way. This initiative is part of the second edition of the Pavilhão aberto [Open Pavilion] program, running from May to November. It will feature conversations with a diverse range of guests—from architecture professor Guilherme Wisnik to Father Júlio Lancellotti—as well as workshops for children, guided tours of the Pavilion, and supplementary digital content.

On Monday, October 24, at 7:00 PM, the book Arquitetura da CARPE by architect Geraldo Angelo Silva will be launched. The book presents a wealth of previously unpublished material on the history of CARPE.

The Fundação Bienal will launch the essay collection Bienal de São Paulo desde 1951 on March 31 at the Ciccillo Mattarazzo Pavilion. This publication commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Bienal de São Paulo, reached in 2021, and the 60th anniversary of the Fundação Bienal, celebrated this year. CBCA resumes in-person RoadShows addressing the dialogue between steel structures and modular construction

On Saturday, July 16, starting at 10:00 AM, the Fundação Bienal de São Paulo hosts the third meeting of the Open Pavilion 2022 program. The initiative aims to open the historic Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion—designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and located within Ibirapuera Park—to the public, while offering free programming including dance workshops, children's activities, guided tours, and open discussions.
