The Presidente Riesco Construction and Real Estate Company and the Villa San Luis Evictees Foundation, with the sponsorship of the Chilean Institute of Architects (CA) and the Association of Architectural Offices (AOA), and with the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage acting as guarantor, have announced a national architectural design competition for the adaptive reuse of the existing Block 14 of the former Villa San Luis as a Memorial Museum. The site, along with its protected perimeter, has been a National Monument in the Historic Monument category since 2017.
The competition is open to all Chilean architects with a professional license.
