The General Secretariat of Urban Agenda, Housing and Architecture of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda, in collaboration with the Arquia Foundation, has launched this ideas competition, open from February 19 to April 10 (inclusive), aimed at young architects up to 45 years of age.
In its 2025 edition, TAC! explores the cultural richness that defines the intersection of territories united by the sea. Casa Mediterráneo—Alicante and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, strategic hubs connecting continents—become the stages where architecture acts as a catalyst for encounters, dialogue, and new forms of coexistence in public space.
The festival seeks to reflect the diversity and hybridization characteristic of these port cities and invites participants to rethink the role of design in creating urban spaces that integrate multiple identities, interests, and social dynamics. TAC! 2025 serves as a platform for experimentation where creativity, sustainability, and civic interaction converge to explore how temporary architecture can redefine how we live in and share the city. From the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, this edition reclaims public space as a territory of encounter and boundary—a threshold where histories, identities, and ways of inhabiting converge.
