First "Face to Face with Architecture" Session

    European Prize for Urban Public Space - Awards Ceremony

    The 2024 European Prize for Urban Public Space reaches its final stage with two days of events where the teams behind the five finalist projects in the general category will present their work publicly at the CCCB, and the jury will announce the winning projects.

    110th Ordinary Assembly of the FCARM

    The Colegio de Arquitectos Tabasqueños A.C. (CAT), in collaboration with the Federación de Colegios de Arquitectos de la República Mexicana A.C. (FCARM), will host the 110th Ordinary Assembly of the FCARM on November 19 and 20, 2021, at the Centro de Convenciones Tabasco 2000 (located within Plaza Galerías Tabasco), at Av. Planetario s/n, Col. Los Ríos, C.P. 86035, Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico. Simultaneously, the CAT will coordinate a series of events taking place from November 18 to 20, 2021, within the same venue, featuring professionals and experts in the field of architecture, as well as students in related fields and the general public. The scheduled events are:

    Diseña Mexicana: De-patriarchalizing toward socio-planetary restoration

    During the design month held every October in Mexico City, Coolhuntermx, curated by Taina Campos and Andrea Soler, proposes a space to amplify the voices of women designers, architects, and all creatives. Although they are gradually reclaiming and occupying a place on the country's design exhibition platforms, there is still a long way to go to make our disciplines an equal and fair terrain for developing our practices.

    As part of the Fábrica de Ciudad activities scheduled for the second half of 2021, we are pleased to present the fifth cycle of the Viernes de Fábrica lecture series.     Diseña Mexicana 2022 presents its second edition, "Affection and Care," on October 19, 21, and 22.

    On October 19, 21, and 22, Mexico City will host the first design festival created by Coolhuntermx, conceived by and for projects led by cisgender women, transgender people, and dissident communities. Curated by designers Andrea Soler and Taina Campos, the event offers an inclusive, diverse, and collective space. Following an inaugural edition marked by significant shared learning and insights, the festival maintains its core objective: to serve as an integrative platform for design proposals and creative expressions that seek to foster dialogues alternative to those typically seen during design month.
