Motion Facades Systems redefines innovation with cutting-edge solutions tailored for modern architecture and ultra-luxury living. The 63 and 64 Minimal Sliding Thermal Systems were used in ZUHHA Island villas, located in Dubai, UAE.

ZUHHA Island is a private development off the coast of Dubai featuring 29 exclusive villas designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. Inspired by the movement of waves and the island’s natural contours, each villa is conceived as a sculptural form integrated into the landscape.

ZUHHA also hosts a curated set of amenities, including a boutique retreat, wellness spa, and signature restaurants. The master plan is designed as a self-contained island experience, balancing seclusion with high-end lifestyle offerings.

The villas are designed for maximum spatial privacy, panoramic views, and seamless transitions between interior and exterior. Generous plots and direct beachfront access define the site strategy, while the architecture emphasizes open volumes, curved geometries, and natural light.

To support this vision, Motion Facades Systems 63 and 64 were implemented across the development. These systems enable large-format operable glazing and flexible shading, helping maintain visual continuity with the surroundings while meeting performance and comfort requirements.
