More about this product

Building Concepts by Stora Enso help users get started building with mass timber. They give designers the right parts and pieces to bring ideas to life. They show options of different building types, layouts, scales, needs, and spatial requirements. These concepts can also give users key facts on carbon emissions and costs to help the decision-making process.

In the project's concept design phase, many critical factors can positively (or negatively) impact the construction process and overall carbon footprint. The Building Concepts have been refined and improved along the way for the optimal outcome using the Stora Enso Sylva™ kit (platform) to point designers and builders in the right direction.

The concepts work online, and they can be accessed from any device, with no apps or downloads required. The software has been developed after studying the key architectural typologies and listening to thousands of customer requirements, to create designs that get the best with the Sylva™ kit with an optimal DfMA process.

The concepts are available to adapt and customize for multi-residential, mixed-use, industrial use, schools, and offices.
