The staircase is constructed around an internal steel substructure, which carries all loads and defines the precise geometry of the arc. Over this frame, custom-profiled wood veneer panels are applied to the underside soffit, the riser faces, and the inner string — enveloping the structure in a continuous warm surface that reads as monolithic from the interior.
